«Testament» — американская группа из города Беркли (Калифорния) близ Сан-Франциско, играющая в стиле трэш-метал. Их часто называют одной из самых популярных групп трэш-метал сцены 1980-х. На данный момент Testament выпустили 10 полноформатных, 4 концертных альбома, 6 компиляций и 12 синглов. Первый успех и популярность в обществе фанатов тяжёлой музыки группа заработала после выхода первой пластинки The Legacy в 1987 году, которую уже можно считать несомненно классикой и наследием калифорнийской школы треш-метала. Testament поддержали успех дебютного альбома выходом последующих The New Order (1988), Practice What You Preach (1989) и Souls of Black (1990). Stratovarius — финская англоязычная пауэр-метал-группа, образованная в 1984 году, изначально под названием Black Water. Пришедший в группу в 1985 году гитарист Тимо Толкки стал основной движущей силой в группе и сформировал звучание в стиле спид-метал. Artillery — трэш-метал-группа из Дании. Способствовала развитию жанра «трэш-метал» на раннем этапе его формирования. Группа была сформирована в 1982 году в пригороде Копенгагена Таасрупе. На CD с этикеткой Metal Nation стараниями пани Марты и её подручных сокрыт настоящий шквал ведовского огня и стали. Второй полновесный релиз польских идолопоклонников – всё тот же ураганный евро-пауэр. Однако, один из ингредиентов боевой магии – старая добрая NWOBHM-закваска замещён другим. А именно – влияниями германских спид-пауэр-формаций. Что, впрочем, никоим образом не сказалось на качестве материала!
